Every time we receiveĪn update, an entire app is downloaded again to our computers. The subscription process needs rethought by Microsoft. Point, I feel that there are too many factors that affect different users differently, such as the internet connect and Microsoft validating a subscription when you launch an app. The son with the Dell saves everything to his hard drive. All of his documents are in the cloud as well as mine. He is frequently traveling and using a personal hotspot.

Son with a Surface Pro 3 hates Office 2016. Strangely, one of my sons has a 4 year old Dell XPS and he said that Office 2016 for Windows runs great. If I close and relaunch, an app will open in 3-4 bounces. The first time I launch any of the Office apps the icon bounces a good 30-60 seconds. I have a home subscription for five computers. If it does Deleting the Font cache and restarting Computerīut 2016 from what I understand places fonts are in separate containers for each of the Office 2016 applications. I know 2011 has a Font Cache, that when it's Deleted and Rebuilt will speed up thing immensely.
